Welcome to The Neck and Jaw Clinic
Perth’s specialist physiotherapy centre for neck and temporomandibular (jaw) disorders
Neck and jaw problems are relatively common. Neck pain affects about 70% of people at some time in their lives, while the prevalence of temporomandibular disorders (TMD) is between 5% and 12%. There is also a significant association between neck pain and temporomandibular symptoms. Along with localised pain, the joints, muscles and nerves of the neck and jaw can also cause symptoms in the head/face and in the shoulder girdle/upper limb.
Neil Bowler is the principal physiotherapist at The Neck and Jaw Clinic. He is a Specialist Physiotherapist (as awarded by the Australian College of Physiotherapists in 2009) and has extensive clinical experience in the assessment and treatment of neck and jaw symptoms.
Neil aims to provide the highest standard of care in managing neck and jaw problems. He will spend time in identifying the cause and nature of your problem, and after discussing this with you, he will offer treatment and self-management strategies based on the latest scientific evidence.
