Neck and jaw problems are relatively common. Neck pain affects about 70% of people at some time in their lives, while the prevalence of temporomandibular disorders (TMD) is between 5% and 12%. There is also a significant association between neck pain and temporomandibular symptoms. Along with localised pain, the joints, muscles and nerves of the neck and jaw can also cause symptoms in the head/face and in the shoulder girdle/upper limb.

Please reschedule your appointment if you have any viral symptoms (sore throat, cough, fever, runny or stuffy nose, fatigue, headache) or have been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID19.

To keep you and myself safe:

  • I am fully vaccinated (3 doses) as per the Government vaccine mandate and I encourage all patients to get vaccinated too if possible.
  • I will be wearing a face mask during treatment.
  • An air purifier with a medical grade H13 HEPA filter designed for clinical environments dealing with aerosol-based viruses such as the SARS family and other bacteria is used in the treatment room.
  • When you arrive in the clinic, please wash your hands, or use hand sanitiser. I do the same between every consultation. Hand sanitiser is available at reception and in the treatment room.
  • The treatment table is disinfected between all treatments.

Telehealth appointments are available for those who choose not to come in for face to face consultations.
